Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site

The Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site is a living history museum, teepee, and working farm in Colorado Springs, CO. Located at 3105 Gateway Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80904. The site features restored buildings and period-appropriate museum guides. Visitors can see four different households from different periods in time, from 1775 American Indian life to a 1907 Edwardian country estate. There is even a blacksmith in the 1880s that you can learn about and see in action.

Palmer Castle is a large, grand structure built by General William Jackson Palmer, which features 17 guest rooms, seven meeting rooms, and two dining rooms. The castle was originally a massive carriage house, which was used for gypsum mining during the late 19th century. The building provided building materials for the town of Colorado Springs. Guests are welcome to tour the building and tour its grounds. They can also stop by the Carriage House for afternoon tea.
